The third episode of Hebraic Roots looks at the two covenant people through whom God is accomplishing redemption: the people of Israel and the Church. We look at the purpose, message and ultimate goal of each covenant and discover that Israel and the Church may have complimentary roles but should not have different identities.
Hebraic Roots, Introduction
Today’s church is the first to exist alongside the nation of Israel since the days of the apostles. In the intervening millennia, Christianity became a universal religion. As world events lead us to the days when God will install His king on Mount Zion, Christians must reject a universal identity and learn to identify with God’s chosen people, Israel.
